Before scheduling your regular window cleaning appointment, we recommend reading and understanding whether you have a regular window cleaning or oxidation restoration wash. Regular cleaning is when the glass is dirty, and oxidation damage is when you see a permanent haze even after it rains. An oxidation wash is a restoration service. Once we restore your windows to clarity, a yearly regular window cleaning recommended.
Please see our explanation all about window glass damage and oxidized stages.
Oxidized Damaged Window
The window glass is porous when being neglected and not maintained by regular once a year professionally cleaning it becomes damaged and oxidized when this happens to the window we apply acid to bring the glass back to clarity. Acid wash is a restorative process, and a regular window cleaning will not bring back a window glass to clarity without this procedure.
There are different stages of oxidation, and all require an acid wash. Please take a look at the images to see whether this is present on any of your windows.
